Subject: Dealing with fly tipping on Ruislip High St
Dear Mr Dunnachie,
I thought you would be interested in seeing this post on the Clean Highways web site.
www.cleanhighways.co.uk/lb-hillingdon/ruislip-high-street-bureaucracy-gone-mad
This would seem to explain why illicitly deposited bags of rubbish are often left for days on our pavements even though they are in full view of council street scene staff e.g. when emptying nearby litter bins.
Should we not empower them to take a more pro-active role in dealing with such fly tipped rubbish?
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this.
Kind regards
Peter Silverman
