World Highs reported in Dec 2017 that a 40% stake in Connect Plus M25 Ltd, HE contractor for the M25 area was sold for £265 million valuing the whole business at £662.5 million.

In May 2009, the UK’s government Highways Agency – now Highways England – awarded Connect Plus a 30-year design-build-finance-operate contract to manage the M25 and key arterial link roads. The contract included the now-completed widening of the M25 to four lanes between Junctions 16 and 23 and between Junctions 27 and 30, as well as refurbishment of the Hatfield Tunnel on the A1(M) motorway running north from London.

Connect Plus M25 Ltd – Accounts for 2016 shows a pre-tax profit of £26.1 million on net assets of £217.5 million and a turnover of £119.0 million.

UK Highways M40 Ltd – Accounts for 2015  Pretax profit of £6.3 million on net assets of  -£1.5 million. Turnover £34.1 million
