At 1340 on 28th March 2017 I was following a waste transporter lorry eastbound from Junction 8 of M27. Almost at once a plastic bag flew from the load on the vehicle in the vicinity of Hamble Bridge. I noticed that a large number of plastic bags was flapping from the tailgate, partially trapped in the gate. As I followed the vehicle I saw other pieces of plastic and some of small polystyrene fly from the vehicle. I noted its number as HX14 WHE and the firm as Westridge. This vehicle left the motorway at Junction 11 (Fareham) having in total shed six pieces of rubbish from its load. [I had remained behind the vehicle until I overtook before Junction 11, and noted the male driver was on his own in the cab].
