I appreciate you must be very busy and have to rely on officials to bring matters to you attention. However, I would very much appreciate an acknowledgement of my e-mail of 17th June and an indication as to when I can expect a reply.
I had a very useful meeting with Highways Agency officials on 27th June, also attended by Will Gates of the CPRE. Thanks once again for expediting this. I am currently waiting for a reply from the officials to some follow up questions. (I have had to write to them as well asking for an acknowledgement and an indication as to when I can expect a reply).
The meeting, which was most informative, did nothing to allay my concerns about the Agency expressed in my report “Our Litter Motorways”. Can we now meet at long last to discuss it? I am holding off going to the courts with further complaints for Litter Abatement Orders against Philip Hammond to fulfil the precondition you have laid down. (To keep my hand in I am picking on Boris instead). Can you please suggest some dates?
I look forward to hearing from you.
