Thank you for your letter of 11th August.
I decided not to action the complaint I discussed with your colleague Nigel Rennell. However, it is more than likely that in due course I will need to make a further complaint for a Litter Abatement Order through your court.
Mr Rennell kindly took some time to explain various things to me. For example, he said that the summons would be sent to me for delivery to the other party. This is different from the procedure adopted in the previous case against the Secretary Of State for Transport over the M40 when the Court sent it directly to him.
My notes of the conversation are not very clear and I am still very confused. I would appreciate it therefore if, as promised, you would let me have a summary of the procedures involved in applying for and progressing a Litter Abatement Order though your court.
Coming back to the M40 case I have not received anything in writing recording the outcome of the hearing of 7th June. Should I have done so?
I look forward to hearing from you.
