I rang and spoke to Nigel Rennell, the Legal Team Manager, saying I wanted to apply for another Litter Abatement Order and could I make an appointment with a court adviser to hand it over.
He said I should send it by post together with the £200 fee. They will endeavour to authorise it expeditiously and, if it was in order, send me a copy of the summons to for me to deliver to the other party. I said that last time the Court sent to summons to the other party but he confirmed that it would be sent to me for delivery. If it was not in order they will contact me.
I asked about number of copies and he said I should provide three.
I said that the date of the complaint was of significance. He confirmed that the date they received it would count as the date of the complaint.
I said I would deliver it by hand and asked if I should check to see if an adviser might be able to see me to receive the application. He said I should just hand it in at reception.
I asked if I could get it signed for. He was not sure if that was possible.
I should address it he said to the Legal Team Office.
